The Cannon
County Festival is Cannon County's nearest event that resembles
a county fair. With entertainment venues throughout Woodbury
activities usually include the
Miss Cannon County Festival Pageant,
the Junior Prince and Princess Contest, gospel singing, an art &
photography show, a baking contest, a baby show, school
contests, games and much more.
Two of the
ever-so-popular highlights of the Cannon County Festival has
been the Color of Fall Car Show on the Historic Cannon County
Square, and the Billy Womack Bluegrass Celebration at Dillion
Park.
Arrangements
are being made to combine the annual Fraternal Order of Police
fund raiser carnival with the Cannon County Celebration which
should round out a true County Fair atmosphere. |
