events on September 11, 2001 made us painfully aware of our venerability
as citizens from terrorist attacks.
If the attack itself wasn't painful enough, the event was punctuated
with the massive loss of hundreds of firefighters and police
officers. The day will stand forever as a reminder of the ultimate
sacrifice these dedicated professionals are prepared to make in the
name of our public safety.
