     The Cannon County Mounted Patrol was formed to meet special public safety needs throughout the county. Situations that the Mounted Patrol may be called upon could be search and rescue, fugitive recovery, .crowd control.
        The unit has already be involved in several large music festivals outside the county.
      Training is intense for the horse and rider and not every horse has the temperament to be a member of the Mounted Patrol. For questions about joining or other information, contact Grady George Jr.
